LawDirector was founded by a lawyer who discovered that many people find it difficult to get information about lawyers. In her experience, most people who are not in the legal community themselves do not know any attorneys personally. After spending countless hours looking for suitable lawyers for family, friends and business associates, she felt it was far more difficult to find high-quality legal representation at a fair price than it should be. Even with professional references, getting information to make a decision about the suitability of a lawyer was time-consuming.

Referral services often have a limited number of attorneys and charge exorbitant fees to those attorneys to be included in their network. Like any business expense, those fees are then passed on to you in the form of higher attorney’s fees.
